SceneSat Embeds for WordPress
Live streams, connected chat and archived video. Paste a link and WordPress takes care of the player.
No settings, API keys or SceneSat account needed.

Install in three steps
- Download the ZIP. Keep it zipped.
- In WordPress, open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, and click Install Now.
- Click Activate Plugin. You are ready to paste a SceneSat link into a post or page.
You can also search for SceneSat in the block inserter. Instructions stay available under Tools → SceneSat Embeds.
You need permission to install plugins. If Upload Plugin is unavailable, ask your site administrator or hosting provider.
Live video and chat
Choose a stream, size and aspect ratio. Add chat beside or below the video, or embed chat on its own. Copy the stream link into WordPress.
Archived video
Find a published recording and copy its page URL into WordPress. The embedded player keeps its proportions and offers the full recording page on SceneSat.
Help and updates
If WordPress remembers a failed embed, remove the block and paste the link again after activation. The stream or recording must be publicly available.
Chat follows the stream's configured conversation. Signed-in visitors can post when their browser supports the embedded session; Open chat opens SceneSat when needed.
For updates, upload the newer ZIP and choose Replace current with uploaded. If you used the earlier mu-plugins/scenesat-embeds.php helper, activate this plugin first, then remove that old file.
Recorded audio shows, including guest shows, are planned for a later version. This release supports live streams, chat and archived video.
